The 6ths put in a tremendous team performance away to Sleaford 3rds but were beaten 24-14. splendid strong running and refusal to accept defeat allowed Phil Morland to score his first try for the club. A good 40m kick and chase from mom Rich Oldridge saw him tackled 2m from the line but good support play set up the try for Wingco Conroy to finish. Mick Gerahty added the two conversions

The 4th team lost 26-17 against a very youthful Bridlington 2nd team, annoying really, as we could and should have beaten them, we showed them far too much respect, until the last 20 mins. We had three tries held up over the line, and with a little more thought should have scored these, bit disappointed to have been playing the 2nd when their 3rd team are in our league and actually had a fixture yesterday, strange? Lets see what happens on the return visit. The green scrum was dominant, they didn't want to jump in the line-out against us, or even challange us, strange really, Man of the Match Honours went to Paul Downie.

The Stags narrowly lost to Otley 2nd XV 29-21. The fixture was picked up mid week much to the delight of the whole squad giving the Stags a rare home fixture against good opposition. Otley took the lead early on which they sustained going into the break. scunny came back strongly eventually taking the lead to 21-19 with 5 minutes to go. Otley quickly replied with an unconverted try putting them 3 points ahead. The final play of the game was a penalty for the greens in Otley’s 22. With it being a friendly the Stags opted to go for the win taking a quick “tap and go”. Unfortunately the ball was turned over and Otley broke away for a full length try taking the final score to 29-21.
