Well just to say they haven't put out a 3rd team all season as it doesn't exist.

The 4th team had probably the performance they've been looking for all season, beating Newark 38-0, an all round team performance, with a few players having outstanding games, a welcome return of Vice Captain Iain Spence and Chris Hewitt sharing the honours of Man Of Match, and Paul Baxter excelling in the lineout. The only differences in the two sides were, the desire to win and the outstanding support play.

6th Team, Lost 43-14, Strangely enough, the 2nd team had their game cancelled at 2pm.... the ref was being assessed and didnt fully know the rules and also that you cant pass the ball forward....
Scunny started well, held them for about 15mins, they got their first forward try... then JC scored a superb try, running in from just inside the halfway line... had to get that one in...
A few substitiions were made by rasen... which changed the game... scunny heads went down... being run around the park... didnt look too good, with the score changing from 7-7 to 35 - 7 and having scored half of their tries passing the ball forward..
Last 15 mins, scunny lads played with more pride and passion... forward play and throughout the backs everyone stood their ground...
A great try from Elliot Pashly, driving over the line from 5 meters, taking 3 of their players with him...
MOM Rick Oldridge, excellent defensive play, great tackles made... made the difference in the backs...

3rd's beat Malton 2nd's 46- 7 We lent them 3 players and they eventually got a full side on the pitch. Still no match for the 3rd team in better form. fair play to them for turning up short.
