the rifles beat a useful dinnington 3rd team by 31 points to 7, 2 tries for langdon and even the skipper got on the score sheet

The third team were at home to Scarborough Vikings in an East Yorkshire Division One merit league fixture, winning the game 13-12 as a result of Ian Lee kicking a penalty with the last play of the game. Further points were scored by a Jones try and a further penalty and conversion by Lee.
